We are a non-profit organization solely funded by grants, corporate sponsorship and community donations. At Neurodiverse Networks Society, formerly Neurodiverse Robotics Society, we provide free robotics workshops and dance workshops for neurodivergent individuals to provide them with an opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). Our workshops are generally geared towards high school students; however, we can adapt the program for younger or older participants. To deliver these workshops, Neurodiverse Networks partners with community organizations that provide services to neurodivergent individuals. These partners include Pacific Autism Family Network and PALS Autism School.
At Neurodiverse Networks, we are dedicated to providing individuals with ASD more extra-curricular activities. Through collaborating with community partners, we strive to create a more equitable society by providing participants with fun activities that promote social interaction. Our robotics workshops consist of four sessions of fun and interactive activities that allow participants to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Using the second generation VEX IQ kits, participants will build and program a robot and engage with their peers through a mini challenge at the end of the workshops. Click here to learn more.
